Design Challenge
The design needs to be clearly medical, with a friendly supportive community tone. The main focus needs to be marketing effective public speaking, coaching, and educational support. The shopping cart needs to be integrated with Shopify seamlessly.
Solution
As many medical sites commonly use blue, blue was chosen as the background color. The author’s photo was chosen for the home page to feature her as a friendly doctor, educator and public speaker. Icons have been included on the home page to make the concepts more visual. A membership level chart is included on the home page to encourage viewers to join at any level.
All sales items, pricing, and inventory are managed directly in Shopify. Items for sale show up in Squarespace via embedded code generated in Shopify. The colors in the Shopify shopping cart, are matched exactly with the Squarespace website colors, creating a seamless shopping experience.
